Reconsidering the Radish is a food and drink blog from Tee & Cakes owners Kim Boos and Brian Wood. This Boulder, Colorado-based blog is about any food or drink we come across that we’d like to jot down on the interwebs. Mostly we’llĀ focus on local and independent businesses. There will be recipes, photos, follies, drinking, eating, and randomness. It’s meant to be a lighthearted approach to some of our heartfelt passions: drinking and eating. The two person perspective will help us arrive at a cool dual view of a single place, drink, snack or bottle. When one person sees one thing, the other sees something else.
The concept behind Reconsidering the Radish stems from the idea that many of the foods we know and have a bad rap can easily be turned into something well worth eating. As a picky eater, Brian at one point in his life only ate bread and hot dogs. I wouldn’t say he’s ready to appear on Bizarre Foods, but he’s come a long, long way since those days. Turns out certain foods only have a bad reputation because they were prepared badly and more importantly we not fresh. So on this blog we are happy to reconsider some foods we once had a hatred for, but mosty it’s about writing about food and drink memories while they are still fresh.
